During my 30 day detox, I constantly gained weight and lost weight.
I started the detox off at a weight of 148.6. In the end, I weighed 144.6. That would bring my total weight loss to 4 pounds.
During those same 30 days, I gained plenty of pounds as well. So why don’t those pounds that I gained factor into my overall weight loss if I lost them too?
Just entertain the way my brain thinks for a minute.
Let’s take week 3 for example.
Starting weight minus ending weight.
My starting weight for week 3 was 146.2. My ending weight for week 3 was 146.0
That would be a total weight loss of .2 pounds.
My Daily Weight Gain/Loss
My weight on each day of the week.
Daily Weight Total Gain (Loss)
Day 1- 146.2 0
Day 2- 147 0.8
Day 3- 148.2 1.2
Day 4- 148 -0.2
Day 5- 147.8 -0.2
Day 6- 146.2 -1.6
Day 7- 146 -0.2
If I take into account the 2 pounds I gained during the week (and lost during that same week), that would put my total weight lost at 2.2 pounds.
My question is, how much weight did I lose? Did I lose 2.2 pounds or .2 pounds?
