Detox Week 3

Detox My Mind!
  1. No reality TV. - I did not watch reality TV. I did finally finish season two of Dear White People.
  2. No social media. - I did not get on social media.
  3. Do something for me. - This week was a challenge. I got caught up in trying to find the perfect thing to do so that I could blog about it. I never found that thing. I didn't do anything for me except stress myself out more. Which defeats the purpose of why I'm doing this.

Detox My Body!
  1. Eat clean. This week I meal prepped again. And I ate it. This week's meals were as follows. 
Breakfast: Peaches and Cream Overnight Oats (see video below). 
Snack 1: A piece of fruit and 1 serving of nuts. 
Lunch: Baked Chicken and Veggies. This is not what I originally planned to make, but I was tired.
Snack 2: Taco Salad. 
Dinner: Sausage and Peppers over rice.
     2. Workout. - I worked out 5 days this week.
     3. Drink water. - I slacked on my water this week. I noticed a couple of days this week that I did not drink all my water for the day.

Detox My Soul!
  1. Go to church. - I went to church. It was a continuation of the don't get distracted, stay focused message.
  2. Go to bible study. - I went to bible study. Same message.
  3. Live the word. - It's hard not to get distracted. I keep hearing that I should stay focused and not get distracted. Can a girl get some tips on how not to get distracted?
     One week left. My meals were so delicious this week that I didn't even think about having fried chicken and chocolate. This goes to show you that meal prep doesn't have to be bland to be healthy.  I also lost 2 pounds this week.
